As you may have read in the General Chat area of the Practical Classics chat forums, PC feature writer Matt Jones is embarking on a mad and frankly ridiculous trip to Africa in two Trabants. He is sending regular picture and text updates to this web page via his mobile phone. The picture below shows PC contributor Sam Glover at Heathrow Airport, shortly before they took off for The Gambia.

Due to circumstances beyond Practical Classics' control (eg. a printing cock-up), four editorial pages have been replaced by adverts in the May 2007 issue of PC. Many apologies. We will do our utmost to reprint these pages in a future issue.
